Chelsea and Rian were a lot of fun to photograph, and their ring bearer and flower girl were a hoot to watch! Even though it was a little cold and we didn't get a sunset, we got twilight. We snuck out for 5 minutes and took a few more pictures when the sky was a gorgeous blue! I wish these two many years of happiness!
I met Luke through a mutual friend (Jason) in a chance meeting while editing photos at a Starbucks on the north side. We became fast friends and so when it was time for him to get married I was happy to shoot his wedding. Hannah and Luke are a fantastic couple and I loved spending the day with them!
Baseball mean's a lot to Alyssa and Adam and they incorporated their love of the game into their wedding. Their ring bearer walked down the isle with a catchers glove and they exited the building to a bat ceremony. The rain stayed mostly away and despite the damp we went to Cox Hall Gardens and did some extended bridal party and bride and groom photos which looked fantastic with all the trees in their full autumn glory. The reception was held at the Ritz Charles where we took more photos outside by twilight before entering their biggest party of the year! The theme couldn't have been more perfect, Alyssa was an elegant bride and Adam a dapper Groom!
Allison and Josh's wedding was a lot of fun to shoot so I knew we were going to get great photos. My philosophy of shooting is if people are having a good time then good photos usually follow and their wedding was no exception. The real star of the show however was Allison's little girl who just got a new dad and you could tell her excitement during the new father daughter dance with Josh. The Mavris was an amazing venue and we had a great view of downtown for some twilight shots. Congrats to all three of you as you start your new lives as a family!
Just when you begin to think there couldn't possibly be someone out there for you, she walks into your life. That's what I picked up from Rob when talking about Shyla. Shyla's good for him in all the right ways and he adores her for it. I loved having a front row seat to their rooftop first look and being a part of their wedding day.
Watching the groom's face when he sees his bride walk down the aisle never gets old and Erick's face did not disappoint! They were married on a sunny day in a garden in Avon with their first dance under the stars. Later they walked through the gardens illuminated by candles and talked so only the two of them could hear. Congratulations to you both on a fantastic start to your lives together!
This couple was a lot of fun to photograph. We dodged the rain for most of the day trying to get photos. Kara had such a good attitude about it and I really wanted to get her some amazing photos on her wedding day. There wasn't a sunset and not much of a twilight, but it was drizzling. We took what we were given and made something special that they'll be able to share for the rest of their lives. Congratulations to Kara and Mike.
