I absolutely loved shooting Ashley and Nick's wedding this weekend at the Biltwell. The Biltwell is a relatively new venue with a mature staff that did an amazing job handling the details of Ashley and Nick's wedding. There is a walk in safe in the brides getting ready room so of course we had to take pictures in it. Ashley and Nick were married on the top floor with a great view of downtown and later for the fading sunset. During cocktail hour we finished up pictures and then stuck outside for an amazing sunset shoot just outside the loading docks. Ashley was amazing and hopping up on a pile of lumber so we could get a better angle on the sunset and venue. As a dad to two little girls the father daughter dance always gets me and this one got me good. Congratulations you two, I wish you the very best together!
Kasey & Noah
Kasey and Noah go really well together and I had a lot of fun hanging out with them on their wedding day. The Barn is Zionsville was done up right with flowers making an already picturesse venue even more beautiful! Kasey and Noah had their first look which calmed their nerves and ensured they spend the majority of the day together. I never get tired of watching couples see each other for the first time on their wedding day. Congratulations you two on your new lives as a married couple!
Emily & James
Hanging out with Emily and James on their wedding day was a lot of fun for me. James reminded me of a good friend of mine from the Netherlands. Trader's Point did an amazing job of decorating the table. After dinner a bunch of friends showed up and they had their reception under the tree where they were married. Thanks you two for letting me be a part of your wedding day!
Haley & Mike
It may have been overcast and looking a little like rain but Haley and Mike didn't let that get them down. They were married at Avon Garden's under the big shade tree surrounded by their friends and family. After the dances and toasts I snuck them out for some amazing sunset pictures in the garden. A cloudy sky always makes for a great sunset.
Sarah & Sean
One of the things I love about weddings is watching the grooms face when his bride walks down the aisle. I believe its at this moment that it sinks in that he's actually getting married! Sarah and Sean were married at the Sycamore at Mallow Run on an amazing day in August in the middle of a vineyard. Before they left their wedding they had everyone go out and set up for the bubble sendoff while they had a private dance, just the two of them. What a great way to end your wedding. Congratulations you two, I wish you all the best!
Olivia & Chase
Garden weddings are always magical! Even though it is August it feels more like June, a nice surprise from Indiana. Olivia and Chase had a fairly intimate wedding with less than 1000 people in attendance. I don't know what it is but the last couple weddings have had some epic first dances. Olivia and Chase's dance was highly choreographed follow by the dance with Olivia and her dad with a variety of styles including Michael Jackson! The mother son dance also included the bride! Congratulations you two!
Brandi & Gabriel
Weddings in a garden are always magical, add a fun loving couple to the mix and it takes on a whole new meaning! This was the first time I've seen a 7 song montage for the first dance, and they nailed it! I think they must have danced every style of dance there is! Congrats you two, I can already tell you're going to do great together!
Angie & Robb
Amy & Shawn
Brittany & Andrew
What a gorgeous day for a wedding! Bright blue sky with big fluffy clouds. Brittany & Andrews wedding started at the beautiful St. Joan of Arc Church and ended at the Avon Wedding Barn. I never get tired of seeing the grooms reaction to seeing his bride walk down the isle and Andrews did not disappoint! These two clearly love each other and from what I can tell compliment each other very well. Congratulations you two, may you have a long and happy life together!
