Cassie & Alex
One of the things I love about weddings is all the little stories that happen. With Cassie Saturday was not just the day she got married but also the name of her dog who walked down the aisle with Alex. Their ring bearer didn't want t to step on the the flower design on the isle so he very carefully walked down the side so as not to step on the flower pattern! At twilight we went outside and laid out the candles from the cocktail tables and took some photos with sparklers overlooking the lake.

Kim & Adam
What better place to get married than where you grew up? Kim grew up going to the lake and now getting married in front of that same lake had special meaning. She was super excited that she got her and Adam's picture taken with a sailboat on the lake! Syracuse was a little bit of a drive but I was glad to be part of their special day.

Christina & Colin
I love first looks and Christina and Colin's did not disappoint. I could see the nervousness all go away after they saw each other. After the wedding they built some time to walk around downtown and get some pictures of just the two of them. We ended up on the roof of a parking garage with an absolutely amazing view of downtown! After which they had an intimate dinner at the Oceanaire where they were able to spend time with their friends and family.

Jennifer & Brian
One of the cool things about going to weddings is seeing all the different details that make each couple different. Jennifer and Brian had a box sealing during their ceremony in which they put letters to each other and a bottle of wine to be opened on their first anniversary. Once they open it they will reseal it with another bottle of wine and place it on the mantle to be opened on their 5th anniversary. I thought that was a fun way to celebrate as the years go by.
Deena & Hany
Every once in a while I take a picture that has 2 of my brides in it. I shot Shereen's wedding last year and this weekend I shot her sister Deena's wedding at the Conrad. They had a ton of friends and family around them the entire day! At one point a Deena lost her veil in the wind on the top floor and the Conrad was able to pull up the footage from the security cameras and find it! It had blown under a car in the parking garage! Crisis averted!
